RUBI & RED RESIN

Courtney first discovered resin in mid-2020 as a creative outlet, and what began as a hobby quickly grew into a passion for creating beautiful handmade pieces.

Now living in the stunning Northern Flinders Ranges near Leigh Creek on a station with her young son, creativity looks a little different these days. Between station life and mum duties, creative time is often found in the quiet late nights, early mornings, and the small moments in between.

While Courtney still loves working with resin and creating unique earrings and homewares, her creative passion has recently expanded into pearl jewellery — a craft she has fallen in love with and continues to explore and learn more about every day.

Using epoxy resin, pigments, alcohol inks, freshwater pearls, and a variety of techniques, every piece is thoughtfully handmade and completely unique. From statement earrings to timeless pearl jewellery and resin creations, no two designs are ever the same.

The name Rubi and Red was inspired by two beloved family pets:

• Rubi — a small fluffy dog

• Red — a beautiful big dog

Together, they remain the heart and inspiration behind the brand.

Whether created at the kitchen table after bedtime or during a quiet moment on the station, every piece is made with creativity, passion, and love.
