Black Rock kitchen bakes in-store on Thursdays and Fridays. Open 10am-4pm (unless otherwise notified on social media).
Gaye's sole operated micro-bakery offers an assortment of approx. 30 different hand-made Artisan breads, including sourdoughs, table & flavoured breads, rolls, buns, pastries, and snack items on her bake-days and customers will enjoy the smells, sights and unique flavours when the shop opens. Arriving when first open will give the best selection as sell-outs do happen!
High protein wheat grown in the Orroroo area, prized for its superior qualities, is the basis for all of the breads.
Interactive workshops are held in-store with popular topics such as Sourdough, Pastry Hacks, Focaccia & more are planned for this year, usually on weekends. Dates are advertised on Social Media, Orroroo Town notice board and shop window, or just email for the current dates and topic info. Small groups capped at 12 people.
Black Rock Kitchen is so named to replicate a friendly and personalised experience where people will feel welcomed as if arriving at Gaye’s own home kitchen at the family farming property near Black Rock. Orders are welcome, see contact details.
